Alles Wird Brennen

An adventure for Mörk Borg.

The PCs awaken to the sounds of thunder and screams. Beyond the city gates, they see a wall of flames and horde of undead fast approaching. Can they escape the city before it crumbles in the inferno?

One late night and early morning later, I managed to finish my submission to the 24 Hour Misery jam on time. The theme was Psalm 4:3 - "Look to the West. Forth comes fire, and a horde, and the Kingdoms burn." Being as creative as I am, my immediate thought was to take everything literally and do something that involves fire, a horde, and a kingdom.

I initially considered doing a hexcrawl since I had just made one for the upcoming album crawl jam. However, I quickly found that the layout was not working and a traditional square grid system worked much better. Due to time constraints, I reused a couple of my own images from the Folklore jam. Still, I am content with the end result, considering it went from idea to completion in less than 24 hours. On to the next jam?
